Assoc. Prof. (Hon) R. Beniadi Setiawan, Ph.D., S.T., M.M., MMBA(SC), PMP(SC), CPLSC, CPGN, CPP, CPCM, CPL, CPWD, CPDM., is a distinguished Indonesian scholar–practitioner in supply chain management, whose career seamlessly integrates academic excellence, strategic leadership, and global industry impact. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering in 2009, followed by a Master of Management in 2011. In 2024, he achieved the pinnacle of academic attainment with the Doctor of Philosophy in Supply Chain Management, cementing his position as a thought leader in the field.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management area, Beniadi was conferred the title Honorary Associate Professor in Supply Chain by the PASAS Institute, Singapore, in 2022. His international recognition includes the Outstanding Leader Award at the Education 2.0 Conference (Dubai, UAE, 2024), the Best Choice in Education Award (2024), and the #1 Most Recommended Business & Company Award (2025) for the world‑class training, consultancy, and professional certification enterprise he founded in 2018, Optimasi Rantai Suplai Indonesia (ORSI).
With more than 17 years of direct, hands‑on engagement in global supply chain operations, he has served in senior capacities with multinational and leading national enterprises, including Schneider Electric, BP, Pertamina Hulu Energi, Santos Ltd, and Ophir Energy Ltd. His portfolio of expertise spans demand management, strategic sourcing and procurement optimization, inventory management, logistics and warehouse operations, as well as transportation and distribution efficiency enhancement. A dedicated proponent of lean management methodologies, he has successfully advanced operational efficiency and productivity across supply chain functions.

Beyond corporate leadership, he has provided high‑level consultancy to institutions such as SKK Migas, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, LKPP RI, Universitas Indonesia, PT. Sucofindo Advisory Utama, PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (Pelindo Group), PAM Jaya, and PT PGN Solution (PGN Group). Since 2018, he has been the sole Approved Trainer in Indonesia for PASAS Institute, Singapore, delivering internationally recognised certification programs to a wide range of industry stakeholders. His training and advisory reach extends across premier governmental, corporate, and educational institutions, including the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, SKK Migas, BMW, Volvo Group, Nestlé, IBM, GE, HAVI, Reckitt Benckiser, AirAsia, Chevron, PetroChina, Medco Energi, Thiess Global Mining, Adaro Mining, PT Adhi Karya (Persero), PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), Draeger Medical, Lazada, BNI Life, Watsons, MRT Jakarta, Valmet, Excelitas, are among numerous other notable entities.

To reinforce his professional credentials, Beniadi has earned multiple BNSP national competency certifications—including as Procurement Tender Committee, Procurement Manager, and KKNI Level 3 Training Methodology Practitioner—in addition to a suite of internationally recognised designations: MMBA (SC), PMP (SC), CPLSC, CPGN, CPP, CPL, CPC, among others.
An accomplished author, he has published seven seminal works in business and supply chain management, including Guidelines for Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Logistics Profession Handbook, Supply Chain Management Terminology Dictionary, and Practical Handbook of Supply Chain Management. His publications aim to broaden professional knowledge, enhance operational capabilities, and strengthen the global competitiveness of Indonesia’s supply chain practitioners.

Currently, Beniadi serves as Chairperson of the Indonesian Supply Chain Experts Association (IARSI), a legally recognised national body uniting the country’s foremost supply chain professionals under the endorsement of multiple ministries and state institutions. He also holds pivotal organisational roles, including Deputy Chair of the Permanent Committee for Professional Certification Quality Assurance of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), Central Board Officer of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI), and Central Board Officer of the Indonesian Association of Training and Course Providers (HIPKI).

Through his sustained contributions, Assoc. Prof. (Hon) R. Beniadi Setiawan has established himself as a bridge between scholarship and practice, advancing Indonesia’s supply chain management capabilities to align with world‑class standards while fostering education, innovation, and policy integration.
